Kathryn is an Emmy-nominated media professional.
After graduating with a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Colorado, Kathryn joined Teach For America and spent three years teaching first grade in New Haven, Connecticut.
After leaving teaching, she moved to NYC and freelanced as a researcher/assistant editor at a small production house working on shows for networks such as Bloomberg TV and the MSG Network. One project included work on an Emmy Award-winning television series.
Kathryn then spent 5 years working for CrossFit, Inc in multiple roles including script writer, project manager, graphics producer, associate producer, and producer. She was a project manager for a season long documentary produced by CrossFit HQ. Over the years she produced hour and half-hour long television shows for ESPN and CBSSN covering the Reebok CrossFit Games. She was also involved in producing live event coverage of the CrossFit Games for ESPN, CBS, and CBSSN.
Kathryn is also an established international photographer capturing images that have been featured by Apple, Mercedes-Benz, MBUSA, smart, Nike Football, StreetDreams Mag, ClassPass, and BuzzFeed (just to name a few).
After traveling the world as a photographer for 2 years, Kathryn moved back to NYC where she took on the role of Senior Producer at the creative agency Beautiful Destinations. During her time there, she produced the highest performing social activations for the BD brand, the summer campaign for the Bermuda Tourism Authority, the Stir Your Creativity MIB Finals campaign for Bombay Sapphire/Bacardi, as well as a documentary on Bhutan.
Presently Kathryn is a media professional with focus on automotive, motorsport, and travel content. She has worked with brands such as Lotus, RAM, BMW Performance, and many others. She is currently moving into post production on a feature documentary she worked on throughout 2021 following the Extreme E race season for SegiTV.
